Apartment Hunting in Los Angeles | Moving Days

We're nearing the frantic search for an apartment in LA (Westwood/Santa Monica/Culver City area). The clock is ticking, but we're quickly finding out that the only difference time makes in apartment hunting is how fast you can move in. We aren't planning to move until July (at the earliest) so searching for a place to lease is proving to be pointless right now. Nonetheless, I keep looking, hoping a good deal will jump out at me when I least expect it. Or at the very least, I'll be a pro hunter by the time July comes. Oh yea.

But the lack of a physical place hasn't kept me from dreaming about decor. I love redecorating and would do it all day long if I had the time. This, however, has been a point of contention between me and Ty. He loves modern, always has. And I love chic and comfy, always have. Therefore, our home is always a gloriously struggling cocktail of the two.

Let me show you what I mean.

Ty loves clean, white, linear, and empty. Like these:

Did I just hear someone say man-cave??

I love comfy, colored, inviting, and strategically cluttered. Like these:

A little girly, I admit.

But let's face it, we both know what it's actually going to end up being is something more like this:
-Minus that creepy dragon head on the wall.

Ok, I'm done. Happy Thursday!
