It's Like An Onion.

Here's an excerpt from my latest chapter:
"I have often explained that my healing from sexual abuse has come in layers. Not like cake layers. More like an onion [Anyone??] because like onions, when cut open, my healing affects everyone within its outermost reach.

In the first chapter we talked about how, through life and circumstances, we inevitably evelop a false reality. Well over time, that false reality embeds itself [or themselves] deeper and deeper into our souls and makeup who we are and how we live. e now live by what we think is truth. Those realities have become us. However, the catch is that we do not realize how many layers there are until they begin to painfully peel away..."

Anyone else feel like this or is it just me??

Whether your healing from sexual abuse or any lifestyle of trauma or dissension, have you ever felt like you don't see the world as it really is, but rather the way you want to see it?

Love,

Reader Faves.
